As the new president of the Central & North Florida HIMSS chapter, I’m excited to continue the mission to support education, professional development, and peer networking in our health IT community. I’d like to welcome the new members, and welcome back our longtime members, to participate in a variety of upcoming events in the area representing diverse opportunities for education. I urge you all to take advantage of learning from the excellent speakers available at these events, and encourage your friends and colleagues (including those who aren’t yet HIMSS members) to do the same. As a chapter, we look forward to an exciting year of continued growth and quality in engaging our health IT community here in central and north Florida.
