Johan Lidros is the founder and President of Eminere Group which provides IT Governance and Cyber Risk Management Services. He has specialized in providing IT governance, IT risk management, IT audit and information security assurance solutions for the higher education, and healthcare industries. He is a previous President of the North and Central Florida HIMSS chapter and has had different board and/or committee positions within the chapter for more than 10 years.
 
Johan has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Stockholm University and he is Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), HITRUST Certified Common Security Framework Practitioner, and certified in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL-F). Johan was a 2012-2014 member of the ISACA CGEIT committee, a is a current  AHIA IT subject matter expert and Certification Coordinator for the ISACA West Florida chapter.

Sharon is an experienced clinician and healthcare informatics professional.  She has over 20 years of  experience including work in surgical ICU, medical ICU, ER, EHR training and implementation, data & analytics, decision support and population health.   She has worked in various healthcare settings including hospitals, post-acute care and payer organizations.   Mrs. Harrell holds a BSN and MBA in Healthcare Management. She is a member of ACHE, the HIMSS Clinical & Business Intelligence Community and the HIMSS Population Health Task Force and past Communications Chair for the Central and North Florida Chapter of HIMSS.

Joe Wagner, MPA, FHIMSS

Joe is an accomplished information services and healthcare management professional with 25 years of experience in implementing and managing healthcare information systems.  He was most recently employed with the fifth largest public healthcare system in the United States.  His 5 years of experience as the Vice President and CIO of a major Florida hospital district has allowed him to become an expert in the project management of a wide variety of complex and demanding projects. Joe coordinated and lead large diverse teams of professionals from the 4 hospitals, 100’s of physicians and the State Governor appointed Board of Directors to consensus on clinical and business applications and their budgets.

Joe is a HIMSS Fellow  is very active in State and National HIE initiatives.  Joe was selected by the HIMSS National Board of Directors to serve a two year post on the National HIE committee for the US. The Healthcare Information Exchange (HIE) Steering Committee provides leadership within HIMSS in the promotion and advancement of health information exchange and related activities. He has led the creation of, and participated in, developing relative HIE white papers which can be reviewed on the HIMSS website at HIMSS.org.

Elliot Sloane

 

 

 

 

Dr. Elliot Sloane is a professor and active public speaker, and is also the co-founder of the Foundation for Living, Wellness and Health (FLWH), and the former Center for Healthcare Information Research and Policy (CHIRP), in Osprey, FL. He has been a HIMSS board member for chapters in FL and PA, is the Emeritus Co-Chair of the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) International global electronic health record and medical device interoperability standards body, is on the IHE USA Board of Directors, and is a co-founder of the IHE Patient Care Device Domain. He was also recently elected to the HIMSS NA Nominating Committee. Sloane also designs, develops, and conducts related Health Informatics graduate and professional certificate courses, and publishes related research with South University and Villanova University. He actively presents related papers and panels at professional and academic conferences around the globe.

Sloane has spent over 4 decades in a dual career spanning IT and biomedical engineering to improve healthcare outcomes, efficiency, and patient safety. Prior to academia and non-profit agency leadership, he had 25 years of executive experience with At ECRI Institute and MEDIQ/PRN Life Support Services, with responsibilities for patient safety, medical device, drug, and IT industries. Since then, he has spent over fifteen years at Drexel, South, and Villanova Universities in related academic research and teaching areas, and has published well over one hundred and fifty peer-reviewed papers and conference presentations worldwide.

In 2008, he founded the non-profit Center for Healthcare Information Research and Policy (CHIRP), and subsequently, in 2017 he launched the Foundation for Living, Wellness, and Health. Both are devoted to ensuring medical and information technologies are efficient, effective, patient-centric, safe, and secure. As President of CHIRP and FLWH, Sloane has assisted the US Government, the World Health Organization, and national, state and private healthcare agencies develop and improve their EHR, HIE, HISP and medical device interoperability, safety, security and technology management policies, programs, and standards.

Dr. Sloane is active on many HIMSS, AAMI, ACCE, and IEEE committees in addition to his IHE leadership roles. His HIMSS activities continue to Federal and Florida HIT Advocacy and Legislative Review projects, Professional Development, Professional Certification, Local, Regional, and National Conference Education Programs, Regional and National HIE planning and collaboration, mHealth/PCHA standards, and both medical device and EHR Security and Privacy standards, threats, and compliance.

He has been certified by HIMSS to teach the CPHIMS and CAHIMS Review Courses, and also had a leadership role in the creation of the CAHIMS professional certification program. In addition to his dedicated service to the HIMSS community, Sloane is an active member in the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI), the American College of Clinical Engineering (ACCE), and the Institute for Electrical and Electronic and Engineers (IEEE).

Dr. Sloane is also an elected of Fellow of AIMBE, ACCE, and HIMSS, is an IEEE Life

Member, and is also a Certified Clinical Engineer. He has served as president and officer of many professional societies, and he has received several awards for his contributions.

In this role she has overseen organizational development and process refinement, complex systems implementations and streamlined application deployment, resulting in scalable user-friendly application usability and improved organizational productivity. Avancé IT Solutions partners with hospitals and physician practices to maximize reimbursement through technology.They offer management and thought leadership in support of healthcare technologies, compliance related issues, and technology adoption.

The array of organizations Ms. Mitchell-El has supported over the past 10 years include Program Management for the Department of Defense (DOD), Interim Management for large university hospitals and physician practices and Principle Consultant for community hospitals and vendors.

Richard Rainey is a Healthcare Business Analyst with Tampa General Hospital and specializes in occupational health and wellness for their 8,300 team members. Richard has over 9 years of experience in healthcare, across multiple specialties and settings, performing data analysis and leading process improvement projects. He was a key player in the development of Tampa General’s Drug Diversion Prevention program analytics and reports that have successfully identified potential diversions. Richard also serves as a local chapter member for the Project Management Institute and the Business Process Improvement Professionals of Tampa Bay.

Andrea Gillotte, M.P.S, B.S., is a Marketing Supervisor for AnazaoHealth. She is responsible for establishing strategic goals and action plans for the marketing department while supporting Sales activities for revenue growth in each pharmacy division. Gillotte was previously a Project Manager with HCA's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) deployment team. She planned, monitored, and managed projects of high complexity across multiple teams, departments, and locations that had a direct impact on the organization. Gillotte earned a Master of Professional Studies (M.P.S.) in Strategic Leadership, Graduate Certificate in Health Care Management and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Public Relations from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). She served in the United States Navy (USN) as an active duty broadcast journalist for nearly 6 years. Gillotte has more than 19 years of experience in communications, collaboration and outreach and 12 years of experience in the healthcare industry ranging from pharmacy, Health Information Technology (HIT), Health Information Exchange (HIE), wellness and primary care services.

Sharon's healthcare career began as a volunteer first aid rider with small local ambulance fully manned by volunteers. She later obtained her EMT-P and later RN licenses. She has experience in emergency departments, ICU (adults and Peds), med/surg, home health, skilled nursing facilities, transport teams and hospice. Sharon began work in Clinical Informatics 10 years ago where she can now combine her knowledge of health sciences with computer sciences.

Angelique Robateau has 25+ years of professional experience of proven success in leading and delivering complex global solutions using different methodologies for Fortune 500 firms across various industries, both as an employee and as a Principal/Independent Consultant of her corporation. With a Master's of Science in Biomedical Informatics (MSBI) from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Management Information Systems (MIS) from PACE University, she spearheads many strategic initiatives that are transforming the way she serves her clients.

As a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®)) and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO®), she has held various business and technical positions during her career and remains passionate about research relating to emerging business models and technologies and their impact on business transformation.

 

Angelique enjoys serving her communities. She is currently the Health Information Management and System Society (HIMSS) National CAR Vice-Chair of the Southern Region (several states), Advocacy Vice-Chair for Central & North Florida HIMSS Chapter, Education Committee Chairperson for the Caribbean Community Association(Tampa Florida), and Community Outreach Director for Thunder Bay Volleyball Academy (Tampa Florida).

 

She also mentors young adults (especially girls) about the workforce of tomorrow, financial literacy, and life lessons, so they are better prepared for the challenges in their professional (and sometimes personal) lives.

 

Angelique is currently embracing the next chapter of her life by getting comfortable being uncomfortable. She is an avid reader, enjoys water sports, listens and dances to different genres of music, and loves spending time with her family and friends.
